Font feelings – typeface design
The font Feelings bold and Feelings narrow are developed to visualize the variations in our emotions.
Case:
I wanted to explore how to visualize emotions in typography. I therefore decided to create a typeface with the letters A-Ö inspired by feelings.
For this font I took inspiration from the song Skinny Love by Bon Iver, a sad and desperate love song.
Project:
In this project I created the typeface Feelings bold and Feelings narrow. With these fonts I wanted to illustrate how feelings can take over your whole mind but still not be clearly visible to the eye. My goal was to visualize that emotions can be both fragile and strong, clear and unclear at the same time.
